Making more money to spend

Would you start to make money first then spend or start spending then realised that you need to make more money to spend???

I believe almost all the Generation Y are the second group of people.

Our parents give us their best since we were born. We don't need to earn for living and that is why we spends first then slowly realise it is not enough.
